At the start of the 2020 -2021 school year at Wyncote Academy, we created a new schedule for virtual learning. The new schedule was four days of synchronous learning which would require students to attend class virtually during a set time period. The 40 minute classes ran from 8:40 to 2:50 with a 10 minute transitional period, and a 40 minute lunch period. On Wednesday, the staff   meets for a one hour meeting from 11:00 to 12:00. Students also have the opportunity to schedule appointments with staff and their special education case manager to receive additional academic support.

The Asynchronous day allowed students struggling with virtual learning to receive support as well as allowing students both regular education and special education to have their individual needs met.  

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday were the Synchronous days 
Wednesday was the Asynchronous day.
